The Tagum City Investment Promotion Board (TCIPB) is a collaboration of business generation experts inTagum. As one of the elements of the Tagum City Investment Incentive Code (TCIIC), it is tasked to thrust its implementation and promotion.
On August 27, 2014, 9:30 AM, at the Tagum City Mayor's conference room, the TCIPB had its first successful organizational meeting.

It was headed by Mayor Allan L. Rellon, DPA, the board chairperson, with Mr. Romeo L. Castañaga (OIC - Provincial Director, Department of Trade and Industry - DavNor), the board vice-chairperson, and assisted by Ms. Jasmin R. Angco (PDO III, Head - Investment Promotion and Enterprise Development Section), secretary.

The meeting was attended by members Milagros V. Guttierez (Chief LEO, Department of Labor and Employment - DavNor Field Office), Jemma H. Irenea (President, Bankers' Association of Tagum), Nenita B. Malbas (President, Tagum City Chamber of Commerce and Industry), and Mr. Arturo B. Manigo (OIC - Department Head, City Planning and Development Office).

Members Dr. Bernard S. Ang (President, Tagum City Filipino-Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry), Ms. Noemi Evelyn Y. Cacayorin (Licensing Officer IV, Business Permit & Licensing Division) and Hadja Nairah B. Amerol (President, Tagum City Muslim Chamber of Commerce & Industry) were represented by Ms. Rosa Maria Lumbaga, Ms. Anna Jean B. Montoya, and Ms. Adelaida P. Andipa respectively. Mr. Anwar E. Maadel also sat in to replace and represent Mr. Manigo later in the meeting.

In the four-and-a-half hour meeting, the board discussed and drafted the IRR (Implementing Rules and Regulations) guidelines for the TCIIC. The board has also formulated plans for optimum investment promotion and investor servicing.
